This Week's Announcements:
- Please feel welcome to join us for prayer before the Sunday Morning service each week at 9:00am in the Prayer Room.
- The Supreme Court has granted the ACLJ’s petition to hear a case on the Ten Commandments. We support the ACLJ monthly, and it is good to see their efforts are working. Please be in prayer for this case. This could change the atmosphere surrounding the posting of the Ten Commandments.
-
Beginning the first of June, Todd Taliaferro will begin a Recovery Ministry to help those who have addictions. If you have any questions, please contact him personally @ 817-691-3542 This ministry will be kept in the strictest confidence. Please be in prayer for Todd and those who God is bringing to him to help.
-
Saturday, May 31, we will have a work day here at the church to do some spring cleaning and maintenance. We need men, women, as well as youth to come and help tidy up the House of the Lord. We will begin at 9:00am with donuts and coffee, then get into the main event. Please plan on being present to help.
-
Everyone is invited to attend the AWANA Awards Ceremony on May 21 @ 6:30pm. We will serve hotdogs afterwards and are in need of people to bring cookies and deserts to go with it.
-
We are missing a cooker from the Odds & Ends kitchen. If you will bring it back, we will not press felony charges against you (well maybe), and will not ask questions.
-
Hilltop helps support an orphanage in Honduras each month. This orphanage does great things not only for the children in their care, but also helps with food and medical care for people in the surrounding area. In the info center, at the back of the church, are biographies of the children in this orphanage. If you would like to help support one or more of these children, please pick one up and send in the paper work.
- For health reasons, please do not leave any stuffed animals, dolls, or anything other than plastic toys in the nursery, toddlers, or bed babies. All toys in these areas must be sanitized each week to reduce the passing of viruses.
- Weight Watchers is holding meetings at our church in the Education building on Thursdays @ 12:15. Weigh in will start at 11:45. For more info, you may call Angie @ 817-692-1061.
- The Men’s Ministry meets in the Education building the 2nd & 4th
Sunday of each month @ 5:00pm.
- We have Bible Study classes each Sunday morning starting @ 9:30 am. We
have smaller & larger adult classes with a variety of studies and teaching
styles. There is a young singles class and a ladies only class. There are
classes for children of all ages. If you would like to attend and do not know
where to go, our greeters will help you find just the right group.
- Need a spiritual lift to help you make the week? Why not give Wednesday
evening service a try? Who knows, it might change your life.
- If you would like to have a cd of our service, please fill out a form at
the table by the sound booth. Cd’s are $3.00 each.
- We are asking anyone who is not disabled to please not park in the spots
directly in the front of the building, even if it does not have a handicap
parking sign. We have more disabled people than we have parking spots and this
creates a great hardship on them not to be able to park close.
- Those wanting to give towards the building, please mark your check or envelope, “Building” and it will go to the principle. A new sanctuary will be a reality.
- Please see the bulletin board in the foyer for special notices and opportunities of ministry.
- Solid Solid Wednesday
- Doors will open at 6:15pm and the service begins
at 7:15.
